The project is located in the Wukuaishi Area of Jinniu District, Chengdu City. It is only a 15-minute drive from Chengdu North Railway Station, with advantageous surroundings suitable for building urban infrastructure. The project includes two parts—residences and centralized commercial buildings. The landscape design mainly focuses on planting landscape, aiming to meet the needs of dwelling, comfort, safety and economy, while creating an ecological, natural and cozy community with beautiful and livable environment.
The design adopts simple and modern techniques to naturally express the characteristics of different spaces themselves. The commercial street is simple and stylish with a good leisure business atmosphere; the residential area is naturally pleasant and full of vitality. The project emphasizes the transition between spaces, hoping to make the landscape change along with each moving step, making it possible to locate in a city with a bustling street market on one side, and a tranquil and peaceful natural courtyard on the other.
The overall layout of the residential area is designed with"one belt, one water system and multiple courtyards". One belt refers to a public green belt in the north-south direction, creating the retractable functional space for walking and landscape node. One water system is the main element of the residential area design with natural creek running through, combining different forms of landscape bridges and sitting platforms to highlight the design theme. Based on the integrated road system and water system, the design creates multiple functional courtyards to enrich space experience and enhance the quality of the entire project.
